Always the ladies man Frankie Robinsons first conquest at THE ROYAL was Student Nurse Samantha Beaumont who unbeknown to him became pregnant.
At the same time he began a relationship with Meryl Taylor and they forged ahead but his past came back to haunt him when his first wife and children appeared at THE ROYAL.
Meryl eventually forgave him and they began to make amends only for Meryl to be killed by a speeding car whilst attending a road traffic accident.
Frankie eventually moved on and fell in love with Nurse Stella Davenport only to discover they both felt the same eventually telling her he loved her just before they were both killed in the collapsed ruins of an amusement arcade.
