Meryl Taylor was attracted instantly to the new Doctor at THE ROYAL in the form of David Cheriton but lost him when he died at a rugby match.
She eventually got over his death and fell in love with Frankie Robinson the ambulance driver who was less than honest with her not only fathering a child to her friend Student Nurse Samantha Beaumont but also still being married to his first wife.
With time and trust they moved on with their relationship. However, Meryl was herself killed whilst attending a road traffic accident when she was hit by a speeding vehicle.
